Holy foot stomping prog blues on a Celtic bun! Laughing Cat Records recording artists Beyond Reason delivers high energy what cha call it from their fifteenth year musical blender on their 4th release The Blue Room.

Well here it is, our third release on the Laughing Cat label - Stompin' The Blues Vol. 1! This time around we are working in the well-established idiom of Houserockin' Blues (...with 50+ yrs of history...Roy Brown's Good Rockin' Tonight, a R&B #1 hit in 1947 recorded by Wynonie Harris) bringing in the music twist and turns that make it Beyond Reason.

In early January 1996 we set up in Studio Dual and cut the basic tracks and vocals live, as we wanted to catch the energy and communication of the band playing a gig. Additional keyboards, tiple and guitars added later.
